Plant Manager for Hailo Wind Systems

Description

FMC HR is looking for a Plant Manager for our German client Hailo Wind Systems, one of the global market and technology leaders for professional access and climbing technology solutions for wind turbines. In addition to its headquarters in Germany, Hailo Wind Systems manufactures in China, India, the USA and Brazil. To further expand its global presence and serve its customers in the best possible way, our client is now setting up another production site in Turkey.

Reporting to the German HQ, the Plant Manager will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of production at the new site in Izmir. He/She will ensure efficient and economical manufacturing, optimize processes, and continuously improve production workflows while taking into account quality, cost, delivery capability, and safety. The number of employees to be managed will be gradually built up and is expected to reach approximately 25 in the long term.

Key Responsibilities

Assume overall responsibility for production processes and the economic success of the plant
Build and lead a high-performing production team
Ensure efficient production planning and control
Optimize production processes in terms of cost, quality, and productivity
Implement lean management and continuous improvement processes
Manage and control investments and budgets

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

University degree in engineering
Several years of experience in a management position in a sheet metal or metal forming manufacturing company
Solid knowledge of production control, lean management, and process optimization
Knowledge of quality management and safety
Communication in English is a requirement; German language skills are desirable
Experience of leading and developing teams
Proficient in ERP systems
Hands-on approach and problem-solving skills
